Strategic Planning for St. Tikhon Mission
Fall 2016 Planning Sessions


The parish held three Strategic Planning Sessions in September and October 2016.  The parish community developed a mission statement, goals, and a planning framework for current and future initiatives.

2017 All-Parish Planning Event

On September 24, 2017, St. Tikhon Mission held an All-Parish planning event to review and prioritize future plans for the 80 objectives that were developed in last year's Strategic Planning sessions. Thanks to all who participated!  

Our Mission Statement

St. Tikhon Church is a diverse and multi-ethnic Orthodox Christian community serving all in Parker and the greater South Metro Denver area with liturgical fidelity. We strive in humility to excellence in ancient Christian worship, spiritual growth, religious education, and service to Christ’s needy as proclaimed in the Holy Gospel (Matthew 25:35-36), to the Glory of God.

Dormition Fast - 07/31/2021

Glory to Jesus Christ! Tomorrow begins the merely 2 week, but 2nd most solemn after Great Lent, fast of the church year. Just as the Great fast, it is not only a time of refrain from certain foods, but also a time for greater prayer and reflection in preparation to celebrate the falling asleep and bodily assumption to heaven of God's holy mother.
