The Tuesday Evening Ladies' Bible Study will be starting a new book in December, The Explanation by Blessed Theophylact* of The Holy Gospel according to St. Luke.

*Blessed Theophylact born on a Greek isle between 1050 and 1060, went to Constantinople to study under the finest teachers of literature. He was ordained and served as heirodeacon assisting the patriarch at Agia Sophia. In 1090 he was enthroned as Archbishop of Bulgaria. His Explanations are based entirely on the works of the great Fathers of the early Church, and above all, St. John Chrysostom. These books are to guard and transmit to future generations the living apostolic tradition of the early Church.
